Payments not finalising

With a third party shop module, direct did not process the cart and it tried to take me to the membership:

https://my-domain.tld/m/payment/join/ 

I will test with the regular store module and memberships.

I will change to direct payment and let you know.  I don't care which method as long as it works.  As a side note, the old Dolphin site is running on an older version of PHP so that may also be the issue with IPN on Cheetah; the Cheetah site is running on PHP 7.4.16.

I will attempt to debug when i have some time. Right now i am 3 weeks away from the scheduled beta release and am in the middle of several other issues that i want to get done before the beta.

I did my testing with direct payment. So you may want to look into that. Perhaps something i did to fix direct payments, broke ipn.

As i said, i will look into things again when i get a chance.

I am having an issue with paypal payments not finalising.  The checkout process appears to be working, it takes you to the paypal checkout form, you put in your info, click on the submit, it processes the payment but it is returning to the shopping cart showing the item still in the cart.  This is the same for both buying memberships and purchasing things from the shop.  We are using IPN, have the settings in our PayPal account correct for the auto return (the IPN section in paypal is blank) and the auto return URL is set to

https://my-domain.tld/m/payment/act_finalize_checkout/paypal/2 (This is for a member's cart for the shop).

Has anyone else set up Cheetah to accept paypal payments for memberships and/or shop?  I have verified the settings in paypal and Cheetah in an old Dolphin 7.1.6 site where payments are working with the exact same setup.
