Cover Photo Not working on one site only

Oh. i see. Yes the next version is 1.3.0.

Sorry my last post may have been confusing. The question mark was there because I didn't know what the next release will be called.

I have the repo running on my computer, all is working okay, but I certainly haven't tried everything. Profile pics and covers load fine, I'm not getting any errors anywhere and the conversion is mainly me updating my theme. I'm changing colours at the same time, thus the complex process.

Please don't worry about it. I downloaded the Github repo some time ago and I've almost finished converting my site over to 1.3.0 or whatever.  The conversion which is massive only takes a couple of hours. I'm more concerned about adding real data and moving it across.

So far everything is working fine, but I can hardly call this beta testing. I continue to worry that my site will collapse when the new version comes out, so I'm concentrating on the visual changes.  

The cover and Profile pic are working exactly as you planned on 1.3.0 (?). 

There were also some changes to the base html files as well.

I of course will need to do some testing. The upgrade script to convert a 1.2.0 install to 1.3.0 has not been written and tested yet, so i may discover the issue when i get to that part of the new release.

I have to move on to other projects for today, but I did upload all the Templates/base/scripts files from Github as well.

On the Github site, I get a hand when I place the cursor over the blank thumb. From there I can click and get the thumb.  On the 1.20 site, I only get an arrow. Obviously some of the Github material is clashing with 1.20. 

This is really strange. Uploading the repo made no difference, but I'll keep uploading new stuff until it works. 

The inspector has this to say about the working site's thumbnail:

I downloaded the full repo  on 10 July 22. If you haven't made any updates since then, I'll use the files from that 

Most likely one of the files in the photos module. Not sure which one as there has been many changes to that entire module. You may need to download a zip file of the repo and replace the entire photo module with the one from the repo.

Oddly, the site that does work is a repo download of 1.30 (?) from Github.

I've just downloaded the updated ProfileGenerator file, added it to 1.20 and the cover can now be changed.

Unfortunately, the profile image has now disappeared. It looks like I need to change another file as well.

Actually, did you grab any files from the github repo?

That cover bug fix has not been released yet. It will be in the next release of cheetah.

You will need the file templates/base/scripts/ChBaseProfileGenerator.php from the repo. https://github.com/CheetahWSB/Cheetah/blob/master/templates/base/scripts/ChBaseProfileGenerator.php which should fix the problem.

I will have to look back on the fixes done on the last version. I know there have been fixes for the cropper, and fixes for those that have their site setup to delete the original image.

When I choose a cover image to replace the random image, the Cover area is blank. When I delete the new image, the random image reappears as it should.

The Chrome inspector tells me the script is looking for the original image:

style="background-image: url(https://mysite.com/m/photos/get_image/original/8be3637a4c23beca9f6057d99b13950e.jpg)".

On another site where everything is working fine, Chrome's inspector reports:

style= "background-image: url(https://mysite.com/m/photos/get_image/file/0dc033b9ddedc646bda14fe2a6eed4a9.jpg)".

I have the  "Delete Original Image" option enabled on both sites.

The problem site has been modified a lot, but not in any areas that matter as fare as I can recall. I've reinstalled  ChBaseProfileGenerator.php to no avail. 

Any suggestions where I should look.
