Modzzz normally replies quite well but I have sent him numerous emails about this issue dealing with the logic that connects other aspects of the site to the module. He is an outstanding programmer and he indeed gets very busy. I have sent him numerous upgrade requests which he responded with he is to busy for custom work. I understand that quite well and accept that. I so however have issues when I have repeatedly told him about this logic issue which I did pay for the ability to do quite a while ago and gave him the idea to do which he added to his module and he won't fix this issue. Not being able to attach blocks of properties to specifically designed pages after I paid him to be able to is an issue. His answers are instant only when he has a new clients ....so he can take the momey...otherwise pls take a place on a long queue .... |

I think you are a little unfair with your comment. From all my years being at BoonEx and purchasing Modzzz modules one thing I do know is that there are times Modzzz is super quick at providing support and other times not so quick BUT Modzzz always does support the customer (new & old) ... What you need to remember is that Modzzz is one of the main vendors here with many many modules on the market and is flooded with support requests non-stop! I am guessing some days run smoother than other days but how you have made Modzzz out to be is not right or true.

Well what is astonishing to me is that none of the programmers here actually use Dolphin to update and track their status with a ticket like system. One might conclude this is it but the author is not the module writter. Modzzz and I have discussed several things and I am hoping to move forward with my requests starting today. One thing is clear to me and that is dealing with 100's even 1000's of requests is indeed a serious issue for one person to deal with. It really is very difficult to keep track of by any human being. My suggestion to all programmers here is to utilize the very tool and technology this platform offers. The forum module for each module on their own site seems like a great place to start. Membership by all clients seems to be something I would want to be able to improve my brand. There should be a flow of praise and issues for each module even if it's one forum for all modules so that a person like modzzz can really track everything that clients wants and or needs. I've spent years designing my forum to deal with 30,000 realtors. It seems like there is no better way to try to deal with so many people. Clearly there are differences between wants and needs. I call them core issues vs wants. A core issue is something that doesn't work when used. A want is gosh would this not be cool if you did that! One should be high on the list the other is paid for and both should be done in a timely manner. Again I have spoken over Skype with modzzz and we are moving forward to resolve all my issues of wants and needs... Csampson |
