wmap privacy field?

Can someone tell me the purpose of the privacy field in the wmap location's table...

What are the options and what do they do or don't do if used? If 3 is used what does that do and I think it is about appearing on the world map?

Good question, I hope someone knowledgeable answers.  I operate a social site where the privacy of members is important; unlike being on FaceSucks.

"privacy" field in "bx_wmap_locations" table is taken from the corresponding "privacy" field in content table.

So this is the same as other fields in this table: city, country, title, uri; which are taken from content table as well.

Privacy is used here to display location of the map, so for guests it will quickly display only public locations (privacy id = 3), without joining all content tables to get this field and check privacy.
