where are the videos stored ? and in what formate ?

sounds like a silly question i have uploaded 4 videos all were flv yet system still processed them ??????? and wow just how long does this take (does anyone have a fix for the time scale it takes////) 4 videos less than 100meg 5 hours to process... :O) my other video script is on the same server takes less than 10 mins = 100 meg ....

my other video site just runs flash format videos straight through so there is no processing ...any one know how to change this setting in ffmempeg ??

to convert to flv ????

but the thing is i cant find where the files are stored not in public_html/media/video  or in the /public_html/modules/boonex/videos/ folder ....

thank you in advance

Did you setup a cron job during installation? If so, are you receiving any emails from the cron daemon?

I also have the same problem as "mingle". I tried to upload the .mp4 clip which nothing went wrong. But when I clicked on the "My Albumn Button" tap, it said "You have 1 not processed video(s) in this album"

I follow the link and click on the VDO thumbnail I've just uploaded . It said "Video is being processed"........for hours. and never finished (only 6.07 MB)

Can someone give me a detail explanation of how to solve this problem, please ?

@mingle...

try this one http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/topic/Troubleshooting-Crons-Videos-Migrations-RMS.htm

I am interacting with my host for the information at the moment. I did not know whether it will work. I'll try anything now to get my site going with VDO. I f you find the solution, let me know as well...please....

I finally got the VDO working !.

I was interacting with my host. The staffs instructed me to wipe everything out (since my site has no member yet) and re-installed everything using host auto-installer. It did the trick of setting everything up from database to cron job. All I have to do was filling in RMS URL obtained from my host.

The phrase "VDO is being processed" will be presented when you upload your VDO and afterward click on a particular vdo thumbnail in the album. Please wait a while before going back to the main album (without paying attention to the phrase "vdo is being processed" on the screen)and re-clicking on the thumbnail of a particular vdo that you saw was being processed. VDO player will pop up and you see your vdo.

Anyway, the process of uploading VDO to seeing it seem to be troublesome but once you get used to it, it's better than not having anything coming up at all.
