what is periodic report..

hi...my dolphin is send periodic report to my email..

can anyone explain what is it ??

what are these deleting temp files..what files are they..

- Membership expiration letters -

- Temporary files check -
Total temp files: 868
Deleted temp files: 470

- Database cleaning -
Deleted profiles:
Deleted virtual kisses: 0
Deleted messages: 0
Deleted sessions: 829
Deleted records from ip block list: 0
Deleted views: 72
Deleted votes: 0
Deleted comment votes: 0

Dolphin runs maintenance routine to clean-up some things.  

It runs once in a day and clean some old temporary files, unused db entries, etc. 

Periodic report - is the result of these operations.
