Then they should say in a year if they want to be honest.

But then again, by that logic if more then four it should be months. Hmm, the questions of the universe. Maybe this is what 42 is the answer to.

im also on hold waiting for 7.1.... I guess the time can be well spent researching the competition and working on ideas, layouts, marketing plans and thinking about new ideas..... Even when 7.1 dies arive i should imagine it would be best to wait for a few sites to try it and burn before picking it up and starting work.

Hmmmm after analysing the initial 'notes', Im not sure it will be so soon.

First announcement said 'weeks', which I asked, weeks or months, reply was - weeks...

then posts followed about module being worked on with updates being released.

Another post saying development is going well and 'should hopefully be ready before it gets hot in Sydney'... 

Can only guess that would be sometime before summer in Ozz?

Is Dolphin 7.1 will be available in the coming days or months?

Everyone by now should know that BoonEx does not ever give a 'release date' on any updates. When they say something like 'weeks', it could be 2 weeks or 10 weeks.

Normally when they try to rush something out because everyone is chanting 'We want it now', it ends up filling up the forums with topics regarding things that don't work or how Dolphin sucks. Its best to let them do what they need to and try to test it as much as possible before they release any new versions/updates.

Even when they do release 7.1, Im sure it will be for Beta only at first and NOT for members to run on 'Live' sites. Dolphin 7.0 went through numerous betas before we got a 'stable' release. Just be patient.

@Rautenbach.  What features are you waiting for in 7.1?

In my experience "soon" can mean upwards of a year in Boonex speak. 

I think this is the closest thing we will get to a how is it progressing lets guess when it will be released.

Unfortunately a lot (all?) of the new feature / improvement changes are not associated with tickets to be open/closed.

 I am simply waiting because upgrading is a freakin pain in the ass... Last time everything broke and took so much fixing I almost gave up and threw the towel in. It does look cleaner thought..... Time will tell I guess, but I am in no hurry to upgrade another site and then spen weeks getting it to run how id did before the upgrade ; )
