view profile action

I have set no member membership only to view profile but i only want no member to be able to view profile info page only is this possable?

Can i edit view profile actions inpop up box  like add another field there to redirect to info page only  or is it better to maybe edit search.php  with a redirect to profile info page for non member only when  they click on profile nick?

Any help/advice would be appreciated

Thx in advance

If I get this right, you don't want any member to be able to see any other members profile, correct?

if yes, go to your membership settings in the admin panel, click the level that your members are as default, search through and find the view profile, you should be able to set it up that way

thx for reply mulchit

what i want is for non member only (visitor)  is when they search for member they are taking to search.php as it is just now but when they see member results and click on name i want them to go to profileinfo.php page and nothing else this is where non members will get there contact info this is for a business site.

As it is just now i cant restrict non members to profilinfo.php page by default it is complete profile info that they can see and that will be for members only.

Non members will not want to sign up just get info on business

any ides ?

Thx

Ian

the only thing I can think of is to go into the data base, go to sys_page_compose,  you can go through and edit who can see each page, non-members, or member, it may work for what your looking to do

be carefull, I haven't tried it, but I was just looking at it

I had a look at what you suggested in phpmyadmin to be honest not sure if i can do anything there

alot of the pages there say  that a non member can view them but in admin/memberships i have non member set to
zero priviledges so dont understand why it says non members can still view pages when  non member set to zero = no actions

I need to study it more to see if i can do anything cause i not that  sure around phpmyadmin.

Thx
