video scrolling in player.

How do I set up video scrolling in the player? Do I need some sort of streaming server? Up until now I have just been embedding.

I checked the forums and I still can't find an answer. When I try to fast forward to the middle of the video, the video just stops. How do i set it up so I can pick which spot to watch the video?

i know this might sound stupid but are you sure it's not simply your internet connection because i can skip to any part of an uploaded video on my site,

p.s. don't know if this makes a difference but i do have the boonex HTML5 audio/video mod installed

other video sites work fine. It's not the internet connection. html5 player is installed and enabled. I can't play the videos on my android at all.

yes i do, although after seeing a previous posting on here a few weeks ago from someone who was using the same hosting company as me, i found out that it doesn't work as it should, so for now i've had to hide video recording and photo shoot as it is those that are effected

Ok so how did everybody else set up their video section upon fresh install. Give us some instructions to get everything working from scratch on a dedicated or VPS. After I install Dolphin, then what is the best thing to do for the video uploads and playback?

just curious - do you have the problem with all videos - or just certain ones? What browsers are you using?

I am having this problem with the html5 player videos that are being uploaded. Embedded videos are playing fine. Also, I tried uploading one with the h.264 codec off and the flash player wouldn't play the video. I try to view the h.264 codec version on android and there is only a white screen. I tried this in Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Android Chrome. Windows 8.1 for my desktop. LAMP stack server.

All I did was install a fresh install of Dolphin, that's it. These are the only modules that I am using:

 Avatar version 1.1.4 by Boonex
Bot Stopper version 2.0.1 by Denre
Deanos Tools version 1.8.5 by Deano
Dolphin Anti Spam version 1.1.0 by Deano
