Should not be. I have uploaded a logo with transparency. However, I used the png format. What format is your logo in? Geeks, making the world a better place |
also a png . I am sure transparency is there because when I open in gimp its there and if if open with paint I get the message " transparency will be lost if you continue" hmmm i'm baffled . |
Don't use Paint, however Paint.NET is similar to GIMP and works brilliantly for saving as PNG This is my signature, there are many like it but this one is mine... |
Yes richard I just tryed to open with paint to prove to myself that transparancy was indeed there . I am at a standstill right now server is down I guess... hostforweb lol . |
thanks for the paint.net tip though I haven't used it ... Is it fairly user friendly ? |

Thanks for the link Richard. I like it. Its easy. For most of what i do gimp is too complicated. Seems like months go by before i need it then the learning curve starts over. I think that's for everyday designers lol. This paint.net is very friendly. I was running with it in minites |
