total cost for aps rebranding??

ok so what is the total cost to get the iphone and droid apps rebranded? is it 500 for prime plus over 200 to get them rebranded?

seems like a god awful amount for something that has prolly no return value

I think Boonex shot themselves in the foot by not offering a mobile rebranding license separately.  They'd probably make ten times the money if they did. By structuring it the way they did, mobil rebranding appeals to a very small percentage of Dolphin users.

ill bet if boonex offered rebranding of the apps for say 150 or so for both, they would make just as much off the apps as they do off boonex itself!

I think the idea is to push Prime, and judging from the topics I keep seeing, it might be working.

Yeah... well for those of us that already have 8 permanent licenses,  forking over another $4,000 - $6,000 to get rebranding rights for a mobile app for those licenses, doesn't make a lot of sense. It is akin to having to buy a new car just to get a new engine for your existing car.

has anyone checked  to see what the cost of having apps written from scratch would cost?

Never said I approve of it.

Depends on what you want but average mobile app per app is $3,000 -$50,000 dolphin offers a structure to get started and really for the price it's not a bad start... I agree with Houstonlively the way it is packaged is all wrong and really requires a different process of thinking that separates it from the package it should be...

Without question mobile smart phones, IPads and tablets are the present and future of the internet and anyone who thinks different is not paying attention at all to current search statistics and the alarming rate of expansion into this market.  Dolphin needs to absorb this path and market "Dolphin" as a package including the mobile capability of such...the entire theory and marketing of dolphin is built around a dolphin and community.  A community is one not segments of or facets of...The separation of the mobile app instead of the embracing of the same is in direct contrast to the entire platform in my humble opinion...  I think you would see an enormous bounce of intrigue into dolphin if that was a package...I have spent quite a bit of money on the APP to get it to do what I needed it to do but really it is what I will be most proud of in the long run...

Hey Tussery, :)

You asked what it cost to have one developed from scratch not what this one costs or would cost you...

I thought BoonEx was offering JUST the Mobile license at one time for $299.

Anywho, you have the cost of the mobile license, iOS developer ($99 a year), Android Developer ($25 one time fee).

You can rebrand these apps yourself.

Nothing to see here

It was rolled into Prime, but now and then separate licenses come around as specials.
