ok that was pretty straight forward.. added error_reporting( E_ALL );

ini_set( "display_errors", 1 ); at the end of header.inc.php

I recently moved my site from Hostupon to godaddy on their Linux server with Cpanel. I have all sorts of problems. To begin with you stock with their PHP settings so forget about the forum mod of Boonex. I was wondering if anyone on goddady with Linux had any luck for a clean and headache free installation?

All sorts of problems with godaddy is what everyone reports. GoDaddy is not the place to host dolphin unless you have one of the dedicateds. Just search these forums. You will see many people have problems.

If you want reliable inexpensive hosting setup specifically for dolphin, then use http://www.zarconia.net/

Yep, I should have read about the hosting before moving my domain to godaddy. I have already took the advice from couple of members here and contacted Zarconia. By the info they have provided on their site, it looks like their Shared server with plan SH3 is for me and later on when the site gets enough members I can afford to move it to a dedicated server. BTW. their rates for dedicated server is about third of the cost with godaddy.

Godaddy doesn't support all the settings for Dolphin , their Php version is old and their Cpanel has way too much bells and whistles and it is way too confusing( half of those functions are redundant and totally useless ) .

 To top all this off Godaddy doesn't really offer any decent renewal codes now. So even if you think you're getting a good deal at signup you're going to pay double when you renew. It isn't good business to only focus on new customers and to stop caring if people renew.
