You need to click the + next to the failed message to expand it to find out why it failed.

As for the 404 error. You need to make sure the .htaccess file from the dolphin zip file was uploaded to the server. It's a common missed file becuse of some operating systems it's a hidden file type. So set your computer to show all files.

Click the "+" button then let us know what the error says. In that way we can provide an exact fix to your problem.

Your screenshot shows a cut-off administration panel. The "plus" button should be on the right-hand side. I also recommend you make sure your server meets the minimum requirements for this script: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DolTech.

ok it is working now you was all correct but now the problem is this

when i add payment module , forum, or a few other modules it installs fine but then when i click on modules and click say payment it goes to an error 404 page

The 404 errors are normally caused by a missing .htaccess file. But you said it was there, so now you need to make sure the server has mod-rewrite installed. You may need to contact your host about that issue.

I notice you're hosted by 1&1 Hosting. Try adding the following just below "RewriteEngine on" in your .htaccess file:

RewriteBase /

I also recommend you check your host parameters under Administration > Tools > Host Tools > Host Params and make sure everything is marked as green.
