similar tables in database one with the small letter and one after upg

Hello

I upgraded to v7.04 and cleared all caches several times.

After the upgrade no profile can be viewed as it always displays " not sufficient permisisons."

Also I have created some dummy profiles and users before upgrading. Now, the really interesting part is that when I tried logging in with some of the usernames and passwords , I was able to log into the accounts without any problem!  using Deano Tools.  But when i tried to login from the main homepage it is always giving wrong username or password.

I am not able to Login to any of my dummy member profiles i had created for testing. Except the admin no other login is working.

Also the profile is not getting displayed.

I am not even able to register a new member.

One more thing thier are similar tables come int he database one with the small letter and one with a capital letter.

Please do help me. our site is on our local university intranet.

the site is heaviliy modded and changed.

Let me guess, you did not back up the site before the upgrade?

You upgraded it automatically instead of doing the line by line upgraded and overwrote all your mods?

Now you get to go back to start.

If you have a back up set it in place and do the line by line upgrade since your heavily modded.  Automatic upgrading ONLY works on sites that are NOT modded.  The heavier it's modded the more errors it will throw when you automatically upgrade.

Set the back up copy in and do it again, this time pay close attention to what your changing.  If your not sure then you'll need to get someone to do this for you line by line who is well versed in the systems.  I'm still fiddling with D7 as a newbie myself, but this is basic logic when messing with any CMS upgrade.
