responsive images

this has been posted about before, and still seems to be an issue in some 'responsive templates'.

Images posted within modules such as groups, events etc... are not always responsive.

Im pulling my hair out trying to get mine to work!

Using hypernova template on a project, template is nice, easy 'design' config area with the template.

However, I still get all images I upload within modules at a fixed width.

tried various methods to fix but none worked so far!

suggestions welcome... (appreciated!)

would but cant as its not a public site (work thing).

basically, responsive template, page resize on phone - image doesnt. Stays fixed width.

happens in all modules where you upload an image.

Can't help you then.  The only thing I can offer, is to specify image widths in percent.

When images are uploaded, they are resized to a set size specified by the setting in your admin panel.  The problem may be that the images are also given an inline style which will override style sheets.  Also, you have to look to see if the image is inside of a container, as the container size if set to a fixed width will control the image size; if the image is set to use a percentage the container may still be set wider.

One problem is that Dolphin contains a lot of inline styling; often controlled by javascript or php code that aims to set the style based on certain parameters.  Trying to track down the code is not always easy.
