Since last night, I have the same issue. Contacted my host, he's trying to figure out what's going on, but can't find the problem. It came all of a sudden, nothing has been changed.
Another problem with the script ?

first chk your php.ini file to infact make sure that the register_globals is Off.......
if it is in face off...try this...as i found it worked on a site i was working on....
goto CPANEL>PHP Config>select the PHP5 (Single php.ini).....click save changes...and then try your site.....
plz post back and let me know if this fixes your problem...it did work on a site i work on...and if not..i will be glad to help u figure it out....

I'll send this to my host while I don't have access to php.ini and config.
I'll get back to you asap.

The issue is that your cron job is running against the system's PHP configuration, which has register_globals enabled. You must contact your web hosting provider to rectify this issue. As mentioned, also make sure your local configuration (if able, if not, ask your web hosting provider to make these changes) is properly setup, or else you will run into a multitude of problems. My register_globals were off from the beginning. But yesterday evening I started receiving cron errors about the globals being ON. Don't know what happened. Since I can't change that, something else must have happened. My host appears to know nothing about it and they are trying to solve it. Meanwhile my mailbox is running full ... |
Make sure the register_globals is off on your server. Leaving it On will bring is security risks. ---- |
Problem resolved, gigapros.com, the host, reset... I still don't know why it started at 02:19 to receive this crons error or how it got turned on...

As for me, the problem is also solved. Same host as Kingston, Gigapros.com. Must have been their settings, although they didn't give any explanation.
I must say, I had some problems with them lately. They changed the IP address for domain resolving without warning me. They transfer domains which causes extreme slowness of my site without warning me.
I wrote them an email asking for some explanation ...

I don't like it when web hosting providers do things that affect service without warning their customers. Media Temple (my host) lets us know of any planned downtime ahead of schedule (upwards to over a week).
