reCaptcha and date fields stopped working

Things have been rolling along nicely with Dolphin 7.1.4 when out of the blue today my Captcha is not displaying and the date fields are not dropping down the calendar display. Have only looked at the join form after a complaint that a new user couldn't join.

Have cleared the cache and mucked around with a few things but no luck.

Same in Chrome, Firefox and IE11.

My RMS is not working at the moment (thanks for nothing Arvixe) but it hasn't been for more than a week so can't imagine this is the issue.

I have read Deano's fix in the forums for the date field.

Any clues or advice to get me on the right track with this?

Cheers

Since both reCaptcha and the datepicker have stopped working, then we would look for a common link.  Did you add anything to your site?  Anything at all; even if you don't think it is related.  My first guess is a javascript conflict.  Check the error console to see if anything appears there.

As for the RMS, contact Arvixe again as they may have made some changes and forgot to tell customers.

Just clear your JS cache and all should be ok.

The problem on your site is that you are using claudflare, and while cache creating for join page it cached some html page with redirect message instead of plugins/tiny_mce/jquery.tinymce.js file.

Thanks Geek Girl and Alex T,

I had cleared the cache (All) previously and also purged my Cloudflare cache with no luck.

Today I turned off all caching, cleared the Javascript cache separately, cleared All cache, and purged the Cloudflare cache.

This has worked ok so thanks for helping me persist in the right direction Alex.

I will turn all caching back on and hopefully this will have a continued good result. Dolphin 7.1.4 has been very reliable for me and is a great asset to what we do.

The only issues that I face now are server processor and memory limits. Even a business shared plan with Arvixe won't deal with processor loads now. Arvixe say that Dolphin has very heavy processor load because it calls many php files for each user transaction. Perhaps my website growth needs a dedicated server now so any recommendations will be very welcome.

Thanks Geek Girl. I have made many attempts to provide admin access to Arvixe so they can resolve the RMS issue but for some reason they don't seem to be able to login to the admin panel. They have reset the RMS server but they did change the IP address of the server that I am working from (Hedgehog) earlier this year and this may be part of the issue. I will keep working with them though. Mostly the service from Arvixe has been very good. The issue of processor loads and virtual memory limits is annoying though as I rarely have more than 10 concurrent users logged on at any one time.

Thanks again for your assistance and advice

Arvixe knows that their shared hosting plans, even the business class, can not run a production Dolphin site.  Yet, they are listed here on Boonex, along with other sites, claiming to be Dolphin hosts.  Boonex allows them because Boonex gets paid for the advert.  Misleading advertising on the part of both Boonex; which allows the misleading adverts and knows that these shared hosting accounts are worthless for Dolphin, and Arvixe that knows you will bump up against resource limits.  You will also bump against resource limits for their VPS accounts and will end up paying the price of a dedi.
