php redirect on member.php?

for some reason when ever someon logs in, it goes to member.php i want them to go to their home page, can i put a php redirect on this page?

Going to member.php after logon is normal.

I have a mod to redirect to anypage you want after logon available for free in the market.

i did this, doesn't work for some reason?

You will need to post the code you added along with several lines above and below the added section so i can see if it was added correctly or if another mod is interfearing with it.

Also verify that the sql provided was executed and the new option for page to rediret to is appearing in admin->settings->advanced settings->variables
