open social Cannot redeclare error

Hello,

I seem to have a problem with Open Social and a new install of 7.0.5

I'm moving my site to a new domain (same host). You can see here that the Open Social App is working:

http://marketingsoftwaregroup.com/wshs

But, here in the new location I'm getting this error:

http://gary-marketing.com/social/

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class HttpUtil in /home/gxjenkin/public_html/gary-marketing.com/social/modules/boonex/open_social/shindig/php/src/gadgets/HttpUtil.php on line 24

I've copied the HttpUtil.php file from the working site to the new site but no change.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening, or how to fix?

Thanks,

Gary

Try to replace your current version of open social with version from repository

I uninstalled the module, renamed that directory and upload a fresh copy up to the Server. I also renamed .htaccess file, and copied fresh copy to Server.

Still not working. Getting the same error message.

Anything else I can try?

Thanks,

Gary

I would suspect based on the error that a class with the same name has already been declared.

You said it's a new install. But i see two mods installed on that site that your original site does not appear to have.

A facebook module of some kind and a twitter module.

You need to verify that none of those mods have any classes with the same name causing conflicts.

You either need to set up a fresh dolphin test site on the same server with no 3'rd part module installed to see if some configuration in the server is the cause, or the cause is a 3'rd party module which can be determined by removing any 3'rd party modules not included with dolphin.

I know your mentioned it's the same host, but is it the same server? There can be differences between servers. In any case, the source of the conflict needs to be found.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
