need help setting up cron

I know this should be easy for most, but i always seem to have a problem. This is the email I am getting:

Could not open input file: m:/home/localhost/www/d70/periodic/cron.php

and this is the command I have in:

/usr/local/bin/php -q m:/home/localhost/www/d70/periodic/cron.php

i also think it is affecting my video uploads. In my admin a video has been sitting in pending for 3 hours.

m:/home/localhost/www/d70/periodic/cron.php doesn't look like an acceptable patch for a cron job to me. Also, video uploads depend on a working cron job, which is why your uploaded videos are still pending.

i edited it again and now i get in email:

font color="red">allow_url_include is On (warning, you should have this param in Off state, or your site will unsafe)</font> <br />
Please go to the <br />

and solve the problem.

that is the default command from Dolphin troubleshooter. Why would I be getting an allow Url error? it is set to off in the php.ini file.

ok this is the cron job i have set:

cd /home4/xxxxxxx/public_html/periodic; /usr/local/bin/php -q cron.php

this is the email i get:

<font color="red">allow_url_include is On (warning, you should have this param in Off state, or your site will unsafe)</font> <br />
Please go to the <br />
<a href="http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/GenDolTShooter">Dolphin Troubleshooter</a> <br />
and solve the problem.

makes no sense. the allow url include is set to off in the php.ini file

The cron job may be running against the server's global PHP configuration, which has allow_url_include enabled. You can find some workarounds here: http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/topic/Troubleshooting-Crons-Videos-Migrations-RMS.htm.

Your cron path looks funky..

what is this??:  m:/home/localhost/www/  <-- should be a drive letter at all

Are you running this on a home server? The easiest way to find the correct path for the cron is to edit the header.inc.php file and look for this:

$dir['root'] = '/blash/blah/blah/'"  <-- copy that value done

Whatever that value is, is what needs to start the con path after /usr/local/bin/php -q or /usr/bin/php -q (depending on your server)

So an example would be this:

/usr/local/bin/php -q /blah/blah/blah/periodic/cron.php

hope that helps.
