need help changing blogs feed

i want to change my blogs feed box on the front page to be the last commented, not the last one posted.

i am sure this can be done i just need help doing so

this can not be that freaking hard,, i mean i did it with the members block for "last logged in"..  it has to be possible

Reason is the comments and there dates are not in the same table as the blogs. So it requires changes to several functions.

I have not yet figured it out.
