mystery of 7.1

Hello Andrew Boon or other boonex team members

Can you share a bit with us your vision about 7.1 ?

1) WIll be all features and bugs listed under 7.1 in roadmap worked out all or 7.1 will be divided into several versions like 7.1,.7.2.,7.3... What is your concept

2) Can you please fix first all bugs listed in 7.1 roadmap BEFORE you start adding new modules and features ?

3) Many new features for 7.1 has been already developed by your own programmers or external dolphin developers as commercial modules. WHat is your approach in this. WIll you actually buy those modules from programmers and include them in 7.1 or you will develop these modules from scratch ( this seems to me like pointless if there is already dweveloped and functional commercial module like affiliate, membership subs, credit system, sms payment) It will seems to silly to develop those mods from scratch if that module are already developed. If you intend to buy them from its developers and use it in 7.1 than can you name here what modules will be used ?

4) there is couple of ticket regarding managers account but those tickets doesnt say much. DO you plan some real subadmin (manager) accounts which will work sitewide and also in backend so site will have superadmins and subadmins who can perform certain tasks and thus make superadmin work easier ? I think this is core feature I missing in dolphin as now dolphin have to be administrated only by one person as Im afraid if I give superadmin rights to some persons with full access they can fuck up site...

5) 7.0.5 is stucked on 5 last tickets for loooong time already ...why is that ?

hmm strange Am I only opne interested in 7.1 concept ? Seems like nobody really cares...

It's not that we don't care, we are pros at waiting for new releases and word about what will go into it and what will be added or fixed. An answer for your question may take awhile for them to answer if they even do at that. So don't hold your breath on this.....

The version numbers will most likely follow the same method of the D7.0 series. So 7.1.0, 7.1.1, 7.1.2 ect. Not 7.1,7.2,7.3.

My guess is boonex will not buy other people's mods. They will most likely write their own.

But they do what they want. And you most likely will not get any answers, and if you do, they will be different from what they actually do when they finally release it.

Deano: that will be interesting as some of core commercial mods which are also in  planned in 7.1 roadmap was developed by boonex own programmers so that will be interesting see for example AntonLV writing from scratch credit module but he already have one developed and functional .... so that is kinda strange and Im really looking forward how this gonna be... as this is with many core new functionalities in 7.1 . I gave example with antonLV but same with Esase who got sms payment and also credit system, other boonex team programmer got affiliate mod etc....... so it will be strange have already that modules but  develp them again :-) or ... really dont know ..If it will be modules from independent programmers (not core boonex team programmers) I can imagine modules will be developed from scratch  but if mods have been written by boonex own programmers .... dont know :-)

Anyway 7.1 roadmap should be tided up a bit as it contains some duplicate entries - tickets with same features.
