please make a php file and then put the following in it ..

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

and then save the file and check your safe mode fom there

turn off safe mode by modifying your httpd.conf file:
1. find your vhost entry
2. add to that vhost entry: php_admin_flag safe_mode Off

after you do the editing recheck the php file you have created tomake sure that your changes have been applied.

if i did help you .. it wont hurt to go to my profile and add a recommendation for me ;)

alright as long as you are new in this field login ito your cpanel and then go to file manger

when you reach the file manger you will fined a box

usually written in it home/chalhama (or something like that) / public_html

now delete the public_html and hit enter

then go to search and write

php.ini

or try

httpd.conf

** any way i still think you cant do that becouse you are on shared host

then get to me ;)

and yeah .. it's better for you to contact your host and tell them to turn it off for you

if i did help you .. it wont hurt to go to my profile and add a recommendation for me ;)

you realize you just instructed this person to delete their entire public_html directory, and in doing so, if there are files on there, they have been deleted.

and because this account is on a shared server, there is most certainly no access to httpd.conf. turning off safe_mode is accomplished on shared hosting with htaccess or php.ini.

so hopefully this person did not take your advice and delete the public_html directory.

it is vrery clear to me that there would be no need to hit the enter after hitting delete on a directory. though it was not me  you were providing the instructions to.

yeah .. and the part above it is just for fun .. i guess im a really sneaky person aint i ??

and just for you to know ... ( there is no need to hit enter after deleting a directory)

i am just pointing out that a misdirection by a new dolphin user, or new to cPanel for that matter, if the instructions are not clear and concise, specifically instructing to DELETE public_html or the home directory of the account. where i do not think it was intentional, i can see where it could prove catastrophic.

and so you know, in reference to hitting the 'enter' key after deleting a directory, you are correct, but that was your instruction.

alright ..

so the only solution for him is to talk to the support and ask them if they can witch the php safe mode off ( 90% of the times they dont ) but any ways if they did refuse to do that for you ask them to give back the mony (if they have the "30 days mony back thing in there system ) or if they refused to de so post and i will bypass the problem but at any rates if the safe mode is on that will couse the vedio modules to stop functioning ...

hop you the best any sorry for any missunderstanding

 nazzal

no worries, i presumed it was a mistype. at any rate, there are options such as setting the directive from php.ini or and or htaccess.

safe_mode being on, will not allow dolphin to work at all. so yes, he can either circumvent the global settings by setting locally, or ask the host to create an ini or htaccess so that safe_mode is off.

I'm back

Indeed, after telling me to delete the public_html folder is what I understood anyway, however I then delete the public_html

I also sent a message to the host but I still follow them today.

does anyone of you could let me because I am a beginner and I do not understand very well what you told me about file manager

Indeed, I am in file manager and now I have to do what?

thank you very much and my sincere congratulations again for your outstanding assistance

first thing you should be made aware of is that not all hosts are compatible with hosting dolphin. the fact that safe_mode is on, is a good indication that this specific host is not compatible. though you may be able to circumvent the global settings on the php configuration, there is the looming question as to what else is not configured correctly that will present issues for you while trying to host dolphin with this service provider.

http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Warning-Dolphin-cannot-work-in-safe-mode.htm

you can read this post.

you need to create a file and call it php.ini and add the flag directives to turn off safe_mode. then there are other tasks which you may need to implement such as a cron to initialize a local php.ini rather than the global ini.

if you have messaged your hosting provider and they have not responded, that would be another indicator that you may not have made the best choice in choosing your service provider.

Now, the problem is probably something else because the site displays another message

the following

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@chalha-mariage.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What should I do to remove this message that appears and thus find my site?

thank you very much
