moving special blocks to another page

Ok, so I have turned off public viewing of the homepage content blocks because theres just too much information.

Now because i have purchased referal mods etc , theres special blocks that can't be copied or recreated on another page by simply using the HTML blocks.

What I want to to do is place these blocks on a new page so the user can go there after logging in.

I dont want to send them back to the home page (most content viewable only by members) after logged in so i want to send them to the 'update' page. (i will create)

It would be nice if someone could write a mod so that the 'basic settings'  block which is viewable on the home page (content) by both members and non members - could be set to viewable only by NON members!

That way, after login, a user could be redirected BACK to the homepage and thereby seeing all the hidden content but NOT the presignup info.

Having a loooooooooong homepage scares folks away not to mention bores them.

I for the life of me cannot find a 'basic settings' block on the home page. Perhaps you should provide a screen shot so i know exactly what block you mean.

I have a mod that offers far more control for the blocks. http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Enhanced_Page_Block_Visibility

But i don't even know what block your referring to.
