mobile apps question

Question regarding mobile app...

Ive played around with the free version on itunes, never purchased it though as have gone the responsive route.

However, Im looking at a project that may be better suited to the app IF it has some functions...

does the app allow group and creation of groups, or does this have to be done (creation) on full site?

If Im logged into a site on mobile app, then hit a link on that that displays the website version - am I logged into this (I guess not) or is there no live login link?

Can I upload a video using my phone via mobile app.

If so, does it allow me to record or just upload...

Any help appreciated. Have done some searching, but not clear on some points.

 Yes, and photos too.

Both allow new photos or videos to be taken and uploaded.

No group(s) on the mobile app.

The mobile app in its default state is a totally different beast than your site on a phone.

They operate and look different.

Customization to the app is the way to go for more features.

The mobile EVO wall, and a few other modules really can make the app a bit better, but not much.

thanks Newton.

Have you experience in adding new modules to the mobile app?

Just wandering how easy it is...

Im looking at a site based just around groups, but modified.

Doesn't need to include much else!

Could just do a responsive site, then encase it within an app which is easy to do.

Thought I'd check out the D app though just in case its worth it...
