member menu

I can't find member menu options in advanced settings: 

To activate/deactivate the Member Menu, tick or untick the box for "Enable member menu:" in Admin>Advanced Settings>Variables. To change the Member Menu placement, choose bottom (default), top or static. 

There is no 'Variables' section. Does this setting still exist somewhere?

Is nobody using this feature?

Yes, things were moved around.  I will have to go dig it out as I can not remember off the top of my head.  While I am gone someone else may answer.

That was moved under the template settings:
