magic quotes says off but is on?

I turned magic quotes off and phpinfo says it is off but boonex says its on?  any suggestions?

Try clearing Cache manually, Cpanel, File manager, both Caches except in public cache leave the HTPaccess file there. Then clear cache in Admin panel. Clear your browser also. Are you in safe mode? You maybe getting that because you have one php file with safe mode on. You can call your host if you have issues finding it. Only need to do that if you are in safe mode and cant find it.
