limit photos

Hi, anyone knows how or where they is done to limit the number of photos you can upload users. 

for example maximum 5 photos

not sure you can in admin setting for default dolphin installation.

This module though allows you to set 'per user' actions on most things

you could also set 5 images upload per month, or per year, per day etc.... 

unless someone else knows a code edit, I think you would need this.

I have to ask. Are you trying to limit the total photos a user can upload or just how many photos they can upload per session?

Photo upload counter (limit) per user is not available and must be customized by programming.

By definition, you can set in the Membership levels the frequency in hours to set days, weeks, month etc. the user will have the right to upload a certain amount of photos.

Imagine you have different levels set and one is called 'Basic' having rights to upload 5 photos per year, systemwise happens the following:
- During the current year the Basic user will be able to upload 5 photos and once the limit of 5 uploads was reached the user will be blocked from uploading more photos for the remaining period of time.
- Here comes the disappointment...  if the Basic user deletes one of the 5 photos during this period of time, the logically way should be to set the counter limit to 4 ... but No , you can't upload more because you have already uploaded 5 before during the current year.... so wait till the period of time was expired to upload more 5 meaning that on the 2nd year you can collect up to 10 photos because there is no counter for total of photos available but yes limit of time vers. ammount of allowed uploads.
