language keys missing

Hi Folks, have just done a clean install of dolphin and am missing the language keys...... I have the english version available but I can see any of the language keys associated....

I did have a few modules installed, now have un-installed them but still no language keys....

Also when I activate a module I get a bad gateway error message, reloading the page takes me back to the modules page with the modules activated....

Any ideas on the above?

My first guess would be that the permissions on the site files are not correct.  It could be that the language files can not be read.

Look at this page for permissions; to see module permissions, scroll further down the page.

The language files are in the form of lang.php; for English it is en.php.

 May mean the php timeout is set to low or the mysql insert time is set to low.

Are all the language keys missing or just some of them ?

chmod 0777 cache

chmod 0777 tmp

chmod 0777 lang

Then recompile the language.

I remember similar issue happened to me a couple times, only my magic dances with tambourine at the midnight on full moon helped somehow...

I always find that the magical phrases help although I can not repeat them here LOL.
