join.php extremely slow

Hello everyone,

have Dolphin up and running with merely the blog modul. Am still testing, so there are only about 5 accounts being used. The site runs fast - but the joining process is incredibly slow. It takes ages - any normal user would click on the button a number of times or change the page before waiting this long.

has anyone else had this experience?

to be more exact:

join.php resulting in form validation errors: 10075ms

join.php resulting in a successful join: 30573ms

does anyone else have the same experience?

May be you have some 3d party script which was integrated with Join Form?
Also if you post a link on your join form here we'll check it and may be notice anything.
