invite friend mailer doesn't work

Hi I am new here so hello to all.

tellfriend.php not working in 7.0???

when i try to send mail i get send mail failed above form.
Looked at the code but can't find the problem...
does it use phpmailer or something else... hosting/server settings maybe???
