hide item from menu, but keep in quick links.

It has probably been asked before, but I would like to hide items from the nav menu from guest and members, but I would still like the items to show up on account page under quick links. Any way to do this?

I'm not sure if this will affect the quick links as I don't use them, but I asked a similar question here which may help you (it works)

I might be doing it wrong, but it didn't make any change for me. I am trying to make videos link show up in quick links but hide it in the navigation menu. I will try this solution again though to see what happens.
