hide flash promo for logged in members 7.1

anyone find out how to do this on 7.1 ?    if( getParam( 'enable_flash_promo' ) != 'on' )  is not in the bxbaseindexpage.php like it was in 7.09 ... so it has to be set somewhere else .. im using a custom template so the option to hide for logged in members that is in the admin panel wont hide the one in the new template so it has to be coded to hide I guess.. its on reefmasters.net

There is no flash promo for 7.1

It's a single image splash now.

And that has settings in administration/basic_settings.php

There is a check box - Hide for logged in users

I use the splash block in the Basic Settings which has a check box to hide from logged in users.  I edited the code so that it uses a different template so I can remove the borders and such from the promo box.  I added a nice jquery based slider with overlay to the promo box.  It worked quite well on the site I implemented it on.

OK forgive me this is my first go at 7.1  .. I did notice the check box fro hide from logged in members and I ticked that but seems the template I am using over rides that...  guess I need to figure out where this is hiding in the new template and sort it.

Remove the iframe from the template.  In the basic settings promo box, just put in the iframe code above after turning off the TinyMCE toolbars.  There are a world of free sliders out on the internet by the way; and many have free licenses for commercial use.  To change the template for the promo box, you go into the code and change it there. Create the new template you want to use and assign it in the code.

Oh, the fish tank site.  Yes, take or have users submit images of their tank(s).  There are a lot of simple free sliders to complex jquery siders; just do a google/bing search.  They allow you to have a series of images in an unordered list or other html construct and slide or rotate etc into place.
