Gimp is a VERY famous photoshop-like software.

I think any designer or developer knows Gimp, especially for Mac.

But you know....photoshop is photoshop..

Gimp is very good and free photoshop costs over $1000 for someone with a small budget will find this great , i only just found it so not everyone no its around

Serif gets overlook all the time for some reason, but it is very good software. They give away some  programs for free in the hopes that you will upgrade later on. I did upgrade and was extremely happy all around.
