few new module ideas ..developers see inside :-)

I done a big exploration what actually user most like on prolly biggest dating site badoo.com and there it is :

1) ability to buy first place at prifile browse page

2) popularita meter - users really watch popularity meter bwhich indicates "how popularnyou are" depend on profile visits. If meter shows zero or low popularity users really buying credits and using various paid methods to increase it

3) tag (interests) compatibility. Usr can tag his favorite bthings he do.. it can be whatever - favorite band, favorite sport, etc... those tags are placed at very visible position of profile and even in quick view. ON top of that site compare automatically profile of your own tags and tags of person you viewing and highlight shared tages that have boith persons nand also bring those shared tags to first position - Most people deciding if contact other person or not on this tags compatibility with each other

Up to 3 or 4 fierst tags or common tags are also visible on browse members page with each photo of user. List can be populated if clicked on plus link... this is great so user can straight see if he got some compatible interests with seconmd persons straight while browsing members .. for example online members... This is probably most good thing at badoo. Interesting that nobody yet crerated that..

4) small symbol below each profile photo in browse members which represent wehat is person intention on badoo - heart means seeking love, chat bubble means want chat , people msymvbol, means want bmeet new frriends etc...

5) total number of photos which is places straight to profile avatar (photo) and show small symbil of camera and number how many total photos user have uploaded. MOre this shows more is profile popular as people want usually see more photos. Good idea and makes people to upload more photos...

6)when mouse over on avatar at member browse it shows last online status ... when user was last online ( like 5 minutes ago, yesterday... etc..)

7 city showed straight below avatar in member browse. ALso great so u know straight awaqy what city ius user from..

Hope somebody develop those ideas in dolphin :-)

yes I also think those things are good. I was asking various people on badoo how they bahave and what they like most. ALso they was invited toi my dolphin site to copare it with badoo. The main prob wes nthey think dolphin is not very user friendly - They been lost and didnt kjnow how to do this how tom do that - especially they didnt notice tine simple messenger at botton etc. So prolly biggest dolphin draweback so far is intuitivity - most users are lost and learning curve is too long - people waqnt relax and use site not spent hours only on learning how this or that works.

PerosnlallynI think biggest thing are tags. I personally on badoo choose which member to contact based on shared intersts (shared tags) so If some user have highlighted same tags as me  for example -psychology, sociology, archery,. funky music, badminton - I really observe that tag section and much more contact members who have similar interests than somebody who have nothing common or even have some interests .. for example clothing bRANDS i DISLIKE - THAN i DONT CONTACT THEM - so it really works and other users confirmed that  - they also choosing who to contact mainly by photos and those tags.. There is some TAG component done by modzzz but as he dont have it on hbis demo site I dunno how exactly that works...
