facebook template (lawsuit)

if i have a clone facebook template thats black and white instead of blue and white, is it at all possible to be sued by facebook and if so wht does boonex allow others to sell clone scripts??

I'm surprised more people haven't caught on to the legalities behind copying the design of other sites.

I recommend you try not to copy the look of other sites and either purchase an original template through the market, or have your own made that fits your site.

I thing this is something not right I still don't understand why people here in boonex are making template to look similar like facebook

if you want a template to look like facebook that's something stupid in my opinion to many people know they try to be like facebook but you have to understand facebook is one

get a diferent template make your site look diferent than facebook I see to many social network and people are getting sick joining in many social network everyone trying to do competition with facebook

don't make your site look like facebook man make look diferent and something better than facebook

I actually have the template and Dolphin2Facebook mod, recommendations, streams and their crap scattered all over my site..

The members find it easier to navigate, and stopped complaining about how to do this and that. Backed up with a good FAQ to reference.

Being tied to facebook to begin with, almost 1,000 Group members, and a couple hundred fans on the Application page, has made me use that template and the module.

Using the module and template with facebook allows our members of our facebook pages to "import" their events, and share activities; which is what our site is about, since all the users usually create events on facebook..it allows my site to benefit too by bypassing the tedious task of creating events the normal way in Dolphin.(not to mention all their photos are imported to the site seamlessly)

have you explored the Graph API system facebook has developed recently? They want social networking sites tied with theirs.

I really don't like it but it fits the purpose.
