facebook login creates new user??

when using facebook connect to login into site instead of logging in it's creates a new user, eg if user name is roger a new user gets created roger_fb_id

That is normal. Nick names cannot be a duplicate to existing ones.

So you need to clarify something. Was the origional Roger a facebook account, and is the new roger_fb_id the same person.

Members must log into the site via facebook at least once. So when a member logs into your site from facebook the first time then a new account is created and tied to that facebook id so the next time they use fb connect, dolphin will know what account belongs to that fb id.

But if it happens to the same person every time then that is a bug which has been fixed for 7.0.1 due out soon.

have been logging in with no porbs for the past couple of months, but now it's just creating the new user so I guess it's the bug you mentioned thanks
