deleted dolphin admin

I mistakenly deleted my admin panel on my website, so now when I go www.site.com/administration, and I enter username and password, it gives me an error. Is there a way to get my admin panel back? also after I get it back, is there a way to hide my admin account on my website from the end user, instead of them see admin?

Did you delete the actual administration/ directory, the account, or...? Regarding your second question, you can suspend the account from view, while still being able to use it for administrative duties.

I went to my admin panel on my site and mistakenly deleted the admin account. now I can't log into my admin panel. I didn't delete the admin folder from cpanel. Just on my website. for example: www.mysite.com/administration. I deleted from there, within my website itself I didn't know that if you deleted the admin account on your website that you wouldn't be able to get into the admin panel when you bring it up. I'm still able to go to:www.mysite.com/administration, but when I put in my username and password, it gives me an error. error message says"Username and password is incorrect".

Here's a picture. I'm able to get to the admin panel, I'm just not able to get into the admin panel because I deleted my admin profile on my website.

If you don't have a backup of your database you can apply, you're out of luck with recovering the account. You'll have to create a new account and make it an administrator. You can do this by changing the account's role to "3" from the Profiles table in the database. You'll need to clear the site's cache afterwards.

If you have a standard user account, just make it an admin account. Via phpMyAdmin go to the Profiles table, look for the account to make admin and change the Role field from 1 to 3.

Then you can log in with that account.

There should be a link to phpMyAdmin on the front page of cPanel.

You can suspend the account from the members page in the administration panel.

On the members page in admin panel it has activate, deactivate, ban, unban, delete, confirm email.

I thought I saw some where that they removed the suicide unregister button but I guess not. I am using 7.09 and just committed suicide. Thanks to this post I was able to setup another profile and rename the ID to #1 and only lost my blog posts but my forum posts remained active. I was in a daydream and thought I was unregistering a profile not realizing it was mine. Open mouth, insert gun, pull Boonex trigger. lol
