default language

I gonna try to explain,

My website have now 3 languages...
I update the keys always via ftp.. (i like it most)

But since mails are databased, i bought the mail program... http://www.boonex.com/m/email-template-editor

anyway.. i like it.. but...

I see (even before installed this)
-default
-Nederlands
-English
-Français

My question is:

Why a default?
Why it's not automatically?
Because dutch (Nederlands) is default, have i to do averything twice?

I think it's st*pid, but why it's like this?
And is this something that we can remove r so?

Hello

As I see you are using a 3d party module to manage email templates. In this case it would be better to contact with its vendor to get the most detailed answer.

However the default Dolphin's Email Templates manager has the 'default' choice in language selector too. It's needed to specify the default value for the template. Which can be used by admin to create translations on another languages. Dolphin uses English language as default one. So, "default" and "English" varsions of a email template are the same. When Dolphin is needed to take some email template to send to somebody it won't use "default". It will take the one which matches to recipient's language.
