date in the article topic

I am looking to remove the date in the article topic,  I found that if the title is to long, the date is cut down, then when you try to share it, it has a problem, if the date is cut down like this   12-30-   the last - does not stay as part of the link, then when you click on it, you go to a page that does not exist.

Is there a way to make it so the date is not part of the title in the address bar?

A screenshot would help understand better which date you want to remove...

This is not tested but you can give it a try -

Edit "modules\boonex\articles\templates\base\list.html" file and remove this line:

__date__

Clear cache and see if that's what you are expecting...

well, I will try that, but after playing around, I found that only one of the articles had the problem, non of the other articles have the date in the add bar.

the last part where the date is is the problem, if i post it on myspace in the status area, or on twitter the - drops off and then when it is clicked you get a page on the articles area that say empty.   I have 5 others that don't have the date.
