create new navigation pages

I see the block that says new items, but how do I create this into a page? I just need some additional items to the menu so I can add some html content to their page.

Drag the new item to the top and put it where you want the item to appear in the menu.  If you don't want the top item to go to a page, then leave the URL blank.  You can place sub menu items under it.  The new item works for both top menu and sub menu items; it will change colour automatically when placed.

You can create the new page first or last.  Create a new page, give it a name and the URL you want to use.  Add a column to the page and then drag up a HTML block or RSS block, etc.  If the page is going to have HTML content, then drag up the HTML block.  If you want to include code, you have to turn off the tinyMCE toolbars.  Some code will disappear when you go back to edit because it will turn the TinyMCE back on again and that strips it out.  So keep a copy in a text file so you can just paste it back in.  Save the page out and that is it.  The url for pages is page/url_you_entered.  When putting in the URL in the navigation menu, leave off the leading / because Dolphin will enter that automatically.

I think what I meant was how do I create a new page? I will then just drag the new item block and put the page url in it. I can't find in the admin how to create a new page. Thanks.

The navigation is a menu. IE. Links to pages. So the navigation menu builder is where you build the navigation menu. But it's not where you create pages. Go here instead.

Admin -> Builders -> Pages Builder.

Than on the top right of the page builder there is a Add Page button.

This doc a bit out of date, but works very much the same. http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/TutorialHowToCreatePagesWithDolphinPageBuilder

I think I understand what you are saying.  However, you need a link so users can see the page.  A page with a link in it does not make a lot of sense to me.  Why don't you give some more details on what you wish to accomplish.

He is confused. I don't think he realizes the Menu Builder and Page Builder are two separate builders.

Once the page has been created you can click on the view page button from in the page builders. That will get you the link to the page. Then you can go back to the menu builder and create navigation item that links to it.

Anyway. The tutorial i linked to and it's second part, although a bit outdated will still show the entire process.
