Is there a reason why the chat smiles do not default to the default smile set?

There are actually several smiley sets (no idea why, except that each module likes having its own, evidently):
I suppose if you wanted the same ones avail in each section, you could do that. But having wrestled w/ the files in dolphin for a while now, I'd highly recommend just uploading new ones w/ the same names as the old ones so it pulls the exact same img name/type. Who knows what sort of errors you'd get otherwise! |
I was looking at the smile sets used for the flash apps. Some of them are pretty freaky.
Ex: http://www.boonex.us/flash/modules/global/data/smilesets/black/smile17.swf My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |

Ah well i have spent hours and hours converting each yahoo .gif smile to .swf frame by frame, all 90 smiles. and i just used to replace the Default smile set with my yahoo smiles, and noticed that now, the Default smiles are not the Default smiles even though they are called Default. |
