There was a previous forum topic on this; see if you can find it. I don't know if a solution was found or not. Geeks, making the world a better place |
When you create the rooms try saving settings in Flash Apps > Settings and also the AV chat settings ... then refresh chat and you should see your rooms there. DedicatedServer4You.com -- BIGGEST Range of Dedicated Servers at the Lowest Price! |
Flash Apps > Settings takes you to Ray Base Settings which is RMS and nothing in their regarding chat rooms https://niceday-hosting.co.uk | http://northumberlandfriends.co.uk |http://kids-tv.net |
It might sound like odd steps, but with some chat rooms I run, I have had to do these steps to get the rooms to show ... Try what said and let me know what happens ? DedicatedServer4You.com -- BIGGEST Range of Dedicated Servers at the Lowest Price! |
FYI Rays Chat is not your usual kind of chat room ... many people seem to have many many different bugs with Rays Chat and different ways / solutions of getting around them. Although my steps above might seem odd >> for one of my chat rooms this is what is needed to get rooms to show to all other users without them disappearing. You should just be able to save the AV settings and get the rooms to show but I always do the 2x steps to get rooms to save and make sure chat is still connected. Also another method that works for some people > go into the database and delete all the rooms you have made > then go into rays admin and re-build all the rooms.
OR you could also try removing all the rooms via DB ... then add again via DB > Save and take a look in the chat room and see if they are visible.
This 'might' work also ...

Chats rooms created by regular users are automatically deleted, there is setting option for it:
admin panel > modules > flash apps > a/v chat > settings > remove empty rooms created y regular users
which is enabled by default

Like I said ... Rays Chat is just about every Dolphin webmasters nightmare. Everyone seems to have different bugs and different ways of getting around them. I don't think I have ever come across 1 Dolphin site with Ray Chat that is in perfect working order. DedicatedServer4You.com -- BIGGEST Range of Dedicated Servers at the Lowest Price! |
@ EasyHost
Did you try saving the AV settings after you created rooms and then refresh chat to see if they visible ?
