changing membership levels

I was wondering if there is an area in the ADMIN CONTROLS to change a members level? For example, can the admin change a member from promotional to standard in the ADMIN area? If not this should be and would be a great feature...

Thanks

You can edit members through Administration > Members > [Member]. When editing a member, there will be an area to change their membership level. If you also want to disable promotional membership, you can do this through Administration > Settings > Membership Levels.

Can this be done automatically? like get membership levels according to the number of comments and posts and ratings?

How do you change the membership without having to enter all the required info for the profile?

ok Deano answered my question "To make something non mandatory, other than un-checking the mandatory checkbox, you also need to clear the minimum and maximum value fields."

you can fashion your join form where it requires minimum information then all other additional fields will be and can be made mandatory from the profile section. i would simply not approve a profile that was incomplete.

granted there are some join forms that are totally ridiculous, like the two and three page join forms, but to each his own on that one.
