changeing flags for members photos and some info in google maps

any body know how to or would my time be better spent searching through Google ???/

I'm not sure what it is you're asking. But if you want to know how to change the flags that show up throughout the site, they're in /media/images/flags/ and are sized at 18x12 pixels in gif format. To change the flags, format your new flags in the same format and the same size, name the files exactly the same name as the existing files and just overwrite them using cpanel upload or ftp

THANK YOU FOR THE REPLY :o) i wish to know how to replace the flags on google map that represent sites  members location to integrate  there profile picture and bit of text from profile on to the google map in stead  .. i have seen it done but do not know how to achieve it ..

I am not really sure if this is what you want, but you can try. In your world map settings; right below your API key try this.

Profile address field name for exact address geocoding:postal code (zip). works for me;but only if you are viewing a members profile. Then you see their photo and not a flag.

i used Location... now is there anyway to get rid of user names on the map? people zoom in and know exactly where you live by the clicking on the people icon. it shows the users name... pretty good for stalkers i imagine

yes its great for stalkers :O) just as well my maps don not have street view or you could tell um what color their frond door is and what car to drive :O)

i only really want to use it on splash page with users photo and name .. what would i have to insert to get this information to show up in map ?? do i put the field string in ? __photo__ __username__  I really do not have a clue  ha ha

remember to map map controls for zooming off or you'll lead them straight to their houses....
