background fading in between images

Anyone know a simple way to make the background fade from one image or colour into another on a cycle?

Which background are you talking about?

Just thinking about the main site background, slowly fading from one colour or image into another on a cycle.

Saw it on a website recently just using soft colours, almost like lighting effects. Was interesting.

Would like to experiment with it on a Dolphin site Im building if possible.

Images would probably work better than just flat colours, allows a bit more creativity...

You can do this.  Go to a search engine and search on rotating background images/colours.  Keep in mind that Dolphin uses jquery so you don't need to load in the libraries twice, that will cause issues.  If the particular solution you are going to use requires a higher jquery library version, you need to replace the Dolphin jquery library version.  Test for any possible conflicts.  I suggest playing with this on a test site and not a production site.
