I have the same problem and it seems that the forum there is a specific solution, not even the hosting provider is able to help. Fine way I spent a sum of money for this Dolphin 7.0.2 and is full of bugs that I have to fix myself.

I've been thru the forums and tried the suggestions re: file permissions and cron jobs.. but the files are uploaded, just won't play. I've written to support and still waiting on a response of sorts... not sure whats going on or what the process is... hanging on till a solution pops up or might have to resign myself to using another platform... time wasted=money wasted

I am fighting for days between my agent and my hosting service provider. The first now I recommend another hosting service provider and pay him to fix the problem. The second, my hosting provider tells me that never happened a similar problem with other clients ... I have spent € 90 to remove advertising from this blessed Dolphin + I bought a hosting package tailored to Dolphin ( This supplier also is among those recommended by Boonex) and now I'm regretting having chosen a lot for my site. In my opinion no one knows the reason for this problem because they all insist on saying that is because of permissions on folders or settings FFMPEG. In my opinion he is just another problem and I hope the Boonex Dolphin releases upgrade to version 7.0.3 as soon as possible and this update features!

I believe you need to play the media first before the time shows.

yes, the file (audio or video) must be played b4 you get a total time..

Also if you havent done it already, you need to add the proper formats to your settings in the sound module. EX. mp3 ,wav, wma

I had the same problem - I solved the problem by unchecking  -  H264 - in - admin - modules - Flash Apps -  video player - settings -

videos must be redownload  -  perhaps some video with a little lower quality

Try changing the permission for the directories. This could be a permission problem with the player not being able to access the files.

If the host has cgi servers you will most likely want folders and ffmpeg.exe set to a 755 permission. If the host has apache handler - mod_php servers then you will want a 777 permission for upload folders and ffmpeg. After determining that and setting the correct permission, you will then have to re-upload the file.

You can ask your host or go to your admin panel. Tools->Host Tools->Phpinfo
Find near the top "Server API" and see if it says apache handler, cgi, fast-cgi, etc.

Gameuthopia thanks for the explanation, check again and the server is CGI security is set to 755, uploaded a new file to see if it work but nothing also found that the files are not getting store in the module bonex sound data file folder not sure if that could cause this

also found that if i try to upload a new photo is the same issue it doesnt work however the file is shown in my album as a blank picture

Still sounds like permissions to me. Go over it again and make sure you've set the permissions for the added mods as well (the ones NOT listed in your host tools page). Reread the install instructions in their entirety

Still working with testing permissions however, it doesn't look like that is the issue, just found that no data can be uploaded to the website, if it is a permission issue then I am working on the wrong location, it looks like a communication issue between the server and the website that wont allow the information to get uploaded to the server.

For example, if you add a site the auto picture shows on the setup page and after submission the picture is empty.

Same thing with pictures, video and sound, moreover files are working fine and they get uploaded correctly.

Any suggestions

Have you tried re-uploading the /flash directory just to make sure that all files were overwritten as needed? It may be possible that some file(s) did not properly upgrade.

Second option (not exactly recommended)

I have also heard that sometimes using the ffmpeg.exe from an earlier version of Dolphin will sometimes make it work also.

Nothing to see here

Zarcon yep i try reloading everything and nothing corrected all the permissions  and nothing TMDhosting support is testing to see if they find the issue, they tested a different ffmpeg and nothing, however photos are now working, the problem is with videos and audio, is upsetting the situation dont really know what else to do.

pd. thanks for the tips Zarcon and everyone that has taken the time to point out some tip
