I've recently switched over to Dolphin, was previously using WordPress but wanted someone with a more community base to it. However, I still have writers with me. Is there a way to let certain people to be able to write Articles? I was thinking of allowing only them to have blogs, but that would get a bit messy.
Just want to give them (perhaps just that membership level) access to writing articles. is that at all possible? |

ignore zigo, my Dolphin sites work really well :-) All depends how you set things up and making it specific to your needs.
Ultimate Articles from Modzzz as recommended by ... Modzzz ;-) is a very good investment for what you need. I have it installed and have found it to be a great addition. Not only can you allow different user levels to submit their own articles, but you can make things much more interactive also with more media content.
I also had a custom job by modzzz done on mine to allow admin control over who views each individual article according to their membership level. This means I can have all non members see the articles are there, along with thumbnail and description, but only paying members can open the articles according to which ones I set up that way.
Big feature on my site which is very article driven.
