administration/basic_settings.php

After I try to edit the splash under basic settings and put it in disable and save, it loads a "Page was not found" page.

Any ideas on how to fix this?  I reinstalled 3 times with same error.

I just tried to reproduce the issue on my fresh demo Dolphin 7.1 and had no luck. I updated the splash's code then selected 'disable' option and clicked Save. The page was reloaded and the changes were saved. If you do something else to get the problem describe it step by step please.

I know this topic is old, but I can't post a new topic for some reason.

Anyway, I'm getting a error code 500, internal server error, when accessing administration/basic_settings.php

I have uploaded a fresh copy of this file and cleared the caches on the server and browser with no joy.

Running on 7.1.0.

Any help would be appreciated!

are custom templates being used?

 Check your files and directories permissions. On some servers if you have wrong permissions, you'll be getting error 500 for some reason. Also check (or post here) your Apache log files if possible.

Yes, I'm using a custom template but when I switched back to Uni, it makes no difference.

I get a blank page in Chrome and IE, so it doesn't say not found but nothing appears.
