admin is standard membership

How can I make my site read access for non members and write access for members. The problem, when I take write access from standard membership it takes write access from admin which is standard member. Any way around this. Thanks

Just make a new membership level and set the admin account to it. Should do the trick nicely.

Thanks for the reply Nathan. If I do that, once another user tries to edit their profle; the membership level i created will show.  Can't any user change their membership level to the one I created for the admin?

As long as you do not set a price then members will not see the membership. So just don't set a price on the membership level you create for the admin account.
